My name is Chris Linebarger. I write to understand the systems and patterns that harm us, starting with myself, while celebrating the creativity that liberates us. My views don't stay static. As I continue to process more deeply, I revise or walk away. What I wrote last month might contradict what I write next week. That's not a problem to fix; it's the whole experiment. This site is a curated record of those shifts, not a monument to certainty.

What stays consistent is the practice itself. I interpret motivations, analyze patterns, and study what drives people and systems to act the way they do. I'm contemplating how we got to this moment religiously, politically, culturally, technologically, economically, psychologically, historically, and evolutionarily. Facing the past and the present honestly, both within ourselves and in the world around us, feels essential to building a better future that's more just, loving, conscious, creative, and equitable for all. Much of what I write about is an attempt to expose the beliefs, fears, conditioning, and myths that keep harmful structures in place.

I also write to help build the world I actually want to live in. That looks like celebrating creativity, paying attention to what people are making, and honoring the beautiful, unexpected, unique, diverse, infinite ways humans express themselves. Authoritarian and patriarchal systems fear creativity above all else, which is why they target individual and collective free speech, art, and sovereignty. So I create and I celebrate the creative process and expression of others. This is how I resist destructive systems and help build liberating ones. My upcoming podcast will explore both dimensions through conversations with guests about how they create, what challenges they face, and their relationship to their art.

My site evolves with my work. Here you'll find my work as well as work I curate from others. I invite you to follow along and become a paid member to join the conversation and support this work.
